One Less: Celebrate Adoption

More About Our Adoption.....

Adoption has always been in our hearts. Since my brother was adopted I have always been aware of it and have always dreamt about doing it myself. When Matt and I got married we talked about it but didn't pursue it at first. Due to three unfortunate losses we decided it was the best next step for us. We are thankful we are able to pursue it and thankful we will be adopting from South Korea, which is where my brother, Dan, was born. It will be awesome for our son to have an uncle that is a little more like him than the rest of us. Our hearts are now more open than ever to welcoming our son into our family through adoption. Speaking of family, we are so thankful that our families support our decision to pursue adoption.

Well, folks, we should be getting our referral very soon! We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, we are praying for South Koreans as they struggle again with North Korea.
